It is recommended to use 6AA brand new ALKALINE BATTERIES. DO NOT use rechargeable batteries or non-AA batteries, or it will cause boot failure. Please turn off the night vision function during the daytime. Otherwise the screen will display black and white instead of color portrait. Keeping the IR on will also drain the battery.

Please check to make sure you have installed 1.5V 6AA batteries. Do'not use inferior batteries, because its voltage is less than 1.5V. (we recommend brands like Energizer, Duracell, AmazonBasics). Make sure the polarity is correct and the contact with the spring is normal. Hold the power button for at least 3 seconds to turn on. If the device still can't turn on after 1-3 steps, please try to use a power bank. Turn off immediately after turn on/Turn off after using a few time? It may be caused by the battery, please replace new batteries or power bank to try again.
